    Media Cause is currently looking for a Freelance UX designer/strategist to help accelerate the growth and impact of organizations doing good in the world by bringing user-centric insights and approaches to website builds, content strategy development, and in-depth audience discoveries.

    Who You Are:

    The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of UX design and strategy experience working in the advertising, marketing, tech, or nonprofit industries, ideally with both medium and enterprise-level website builds.

    Skills & Experience Required

    • A strong portfolio of UX design and strategy projects that demonstrate your methodology and approaches as well as the final product
    • Experience in conducting primary user-centric research, with the ability to lead interviews and develop surveys for insight gathering and problem solving
    • Experience in sourcing and analyzing secondary research, as well as conducting competitive analysis identify opportunities for market differentiation and improvement
    • Ability to audit existing website structure and UX to provide strategic recommendations for improved IA and functionality. Content strategy experience is also preferred.
    • Highly skilled at developing personas, user journey maps, and/or or other UX documentation tailored to audience segment needs and organizational goals
    • Experience making recommendations and developing approaches for content personalization, functionality, and usability integrations
    • Highly skilled in developing site maps, wireframes, and visual prototypes (experience with Sketch, Invision, or Figma a plus)
    • Fluent in collaborating with web developers, content strategists, and designers (hands-on coding or no-code design experience is a bonus!)
    • Must be a strong communicator with others on the agency team, as well as your clients—providing clear and timely updates on progress and deadlines; confidently presenting your work to internal and external decision makers; iterating based on feedback; engaging in collaborative problem solving
    • Must be a team player—focused on details while also considering bigger-picture context, and willing to both take the lead and follow others' leads depending on the project
