    Job Description

    WHAT ROLE WILL I HAVE? 

    You will take on the role of a Programmatic Trader on our Operations team. 

    We’re hiring a Programmatic Trader for our Los Angeles team. As a Programmatic Trader, you will be responsible for the reporting and analysis of programmatic inventory. You’ll work closely with our Account Management team to maximize revenue and optimize profit and inventory utilization across the various platforms we use.

     

    WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

    • Responsible for analytical revenue, cost, and margin analysis based on historical data, sales projections and market intelligence to evaluate pricing decisions
    • Work closely with sales and ops teams to find creative solutions for direct and programmatic campaigns
    • Join client calls and lead discussions around programmatic video when necessary
    • Investigate and on board 3rd party vendors to help execute campaigns based on various client objectives
    • Gather industry knowledge and share the insights with the marketing and sales teams
    • Gather trends and demand-specific insights to help guide inventory recommendations.
    • Provide and monitor reporting on a frequent basis to ensure pacing to revenue, client KPIs and margin goals
    • Collaborate internally to investigate verification reports and find supply opportunities, and with the Product team to find ways to improve workflow.
    • Contribute to the development of best practices for Trading & Pricing team (e.g. margin management and inventory monetization).

     

    WHAT WILL I BRING?

    • BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Physics, Computer Science or other quantitative area of study
    • Experience in creative problem-solving techniques and strong analytical skills
    • Strong understanding of Excel
    • SQL, Tableau, and data extraction is a plus
    • Willingness to learn, proactive, self-starter
    • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate across department
    • Working knowledge of advertising technology is a must
    • Ability to learn and adapt in a dynamic, high-growth environment
