    Salary: $48,000 - $70,000

We bring our clients’ narratives to life through compelling storytelling across earned media, original content, social media, special events and on emerging platforms.

    We are looking for a Part-Time PR Writer & Strategic Account Support to support client accounts in the Los Angeles area.

    The Role: Searching for a strong writer and passionate storyteller, fluent in the fundamentals of public relations and/or corporate communications.The ideal candidate, is results-focused, creative, and strategic thinker, with thorough knowledge of AP style. Interest and/or experience in the business of sports is a plus.

    Core Responsibilities:

    Focus on supporting one key executive team leader.

    Be responsible for quickly crafting first draft documents such as targeted pitches, press releases, briefing materials, etc.

    Provide support to the PR executive including media list building, conducting media research, and finding ideal press targets.

    Maintain and update databases of client opportunities.

    Monitor relevant media, news, and industry-related publications staying on top of trends, news, and changing platforms.

    Track, monitor, and report editorial and social media coverage for multiple clients.

    Identify and suggest new opportunities for clients.

    Provide administrative support, as needed.

    Required Qualifications:

    Minimum 3-5 years of communications/public relations experience at a communications agency or in-house setting.

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    A history of generating a variety of earned media results for clients.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, while remaining calm and courteous under pressure.

    Ability to manage multiple projects, meeting obligations with a sense of urgency.

    Ability to work independently in a proactive manner.

    An openness to constructive feedback and clear direction.

    Greater Los Angeles Area resident, available for occasional in-person meetings.
