ROLE VISION
We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support the Finance and Corporate Development team. Incumbent will build financial and operational models, review metrics, interpret data to understand business trends, forecast future performance and provide FP&A and corporate development / M&A support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in the preparation of financial models that support our leadership team's decision-making process (Pivot tables, Vlookups, Index/Match, etc.)
- Contribute to the preparation of PowerPoint presentations that provide financial and market updates to our leadership team.
- Own the preparation of operational analysis across all of our verticals to inform our leadership team of opportunities.
- Collaborate with our Financial Reporting teammates on reconciliations and other projects to ensure our audits' successful completion.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of financial analysis work experience with strong financial modeling experience.
- Working knowledge of relevant industry KPIs.
- Ability to think critically and creatively to synthesize large data sets.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, mathematics or equivalent experience.
- Intellectual curiosity and an open mind.
- Desire to grow with the team and the overall company.
- Desire to be part of a team that values individuality and uniqueness.
- Ability to work long hours and weekends when necessary.
- Love for Excel! Must have proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- An interest in corporate business development (M&As, joint ventures, capital raises, etc.)
- Experience with online monetization models.
- Background in accounting or corporate finance.
- Experience at a PE/VC backed company.
- General knowledge of the digital marketing landscape or the direct-to-consumer sector in Auto, Home, Health, or Life insurance
