Job Title: Texas Medicaid Analyst

Location: Plano, Texas (On-site) Department: Medicaid Operations / Government Programs Reports To: Medicaid Program Manager or Director of Government Programs

Position Summary

The Texas Medicaid Analyst is responsible for analyzing, monitoring, and supporting operations related to the Texas Medicaid program. This role evaluates Medicaid policies, monitors client's finances for compliance, and prepares applications for submission. The analyst collaborates with internal teams, providers, and government agencies for accuracy, and policy implementation.

Key Responsibilities

Understanding of Texas Medicaid policies and regulations

Monitors updates from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission

Develop reports, dashboards, and data analysis to inform leadership and stakeholders.

Collaborate with nursing home managers, families, and internal staff to ensure proper claims processing and reimbursement.

Required Qualifications

2–5 years of experience in Medicaid for the Elderly and Disabled

Knowledge of Texas Medicaid policies and HHSC regulations

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to interpret complex regulations
