About the Role:
Clearwater Family Medicine and Allergy is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Clearwater, FL! Responsibilities:
Administer allergy injections and monitor patients for adverse reactions post-injection
Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and procedures
Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper stocking of supplies
Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in EMR
Perform routine clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection
Manage patient flow and coordinate scheduling to ensure efficient clinic operations
Provide patient education on allergy treatment plans and medication instructions
Requirements:
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
Prior allergy shot (immunotherapy) administration experience strongly preferred
Experience in a family medicine, allergy, or primary care clinical setting
Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and patient-centered bedside manner
Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
