Responsibilities
- Greet patients, prepare examination rooms, and assist with patient intake.
- Record vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations and minor procedures as needed.
- Administer medications or injections as directed and within scope of practice, if applicable.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection, processing, and preparation.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records and practice systems.
- Schedule appointments, coordinate follow-up care, and support patient communications.
- Manage supplies, restock exam rooms, and help maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
- Follow all infection control, safety, privacy, and compliance procedures.
- Provide courteous and professional support to patients, families, and team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a Medical Assistant training program.
- Prior experience in a clinical or healthcare setting required.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and electronic health records.
- Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and maintain attention to detail.
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and commitment to patient confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

- Experience with EHR systems and medical office software.
