We are a busy, patient-centered outpatient practice focused on preventive care, diabetes/weight management, and whole-person wellness. We’re looking for a reliable, compassionate Medical Assistant who enjoys teamwork, moving efficiently, and delivering a great patient experience.
What You’ll Do
Room patients: vitals, medication reconciliation, detailed history intake, screenings
Prepare charts for visits (reason for visit, health maintenance, gaps in care)
Perform in-office clinical tasks within MA scope (e.g., EKGs, injections, CGMS)
Assist with procedures and set up rooms/cleaning between patients
Support care coordination tasks: refills support, forms, scanning, prior authorizations , care management tasked, patient follow-up calls
Document accurately in the EHR (Epic familiarity is a strong plus)
Maintain supply organization, equipment readiness, and infection-control standards
Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and team members
What We’re Looking For
Required
Minimum 1 year of Medical Assistant experience in an outpatient/ambulatory setting
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Organized, dependable, and able to work at a steady pace
Comfortable learning practice workflows and following checklists/standard work
Preferred
Epic experience (plus)
Experience with diabetes care, weight management, preventive visits, or chronic care support
National MA certification (CMA/RMA/NCMA) preferred
