This full-time Travel Medical Assistant position supports all local Pulse Heart Institute offices and outreach clinic locations, including:
Colfax, Colville, Davenport, Enterprise, OR, Grand Coulee, Newport, Ritzville, Walla Walla, Republic, Lewiston, ID.
While the team travels together, the Medical Assistant in this role must be comfortable functioning independently in a clinical setting.
Schedule & Travel Details:
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Monday–Friday (no weekends or holidays)
No overnight travel required
Shift lengths vary by location (8–15 hours)
Travel vehicle provided
Additional compensation available for long-distance sites and driving

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
Active Washington State Medical Assistant Certification upon hire
1 year of healthcare experience preferred (not required)
As a Medical Assistant in our outpatient cardiology clinics, you play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinate patient flow and room patients for exams
Record medical histories, vitals, and lab results in the electronic medical record
Assist providers with exams and procedures, including injections and specimen collection
Prepare and clean exam rooms and instruments between patients
Gather and review medical records and documentation
Manage and restock medical supplies
Answer patient questions and provide support during visits
Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA standards at all times

The starting pay for this position is $20.20 per hour , with a full pay range of $20.20 – $36.62 per hour.
Compensation is determined based on skills, experience, certifications, and education, in alignment with our standardized compensation framework.
