Suarez Family Medicine is seeking a Bilingual Medical Assistant for a temporary 3-month position. Candidates must be bilingual, reliable, and have strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and clinical workflows

Serve as a bilingual liaison between Spanish-speaking patients and medical staff

Record patient vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints accurately in EMR

Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by the provider

Perform routine clinical tasks including phlebotomy, EKGs, and specimen collection

Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and handle front-office duties as needed

Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked, sanitized, and prepared for patient visits

Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required

Fluency in both Spanish and English

Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems

Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient-facing skills

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy outpatient environment
