About the Role:

Experienced Medical Assistant for Dr. Badeaux at Red RIver ENT, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team committed to improving the lives of our patients in Alexandria, LA.

Responsibilities:

Assist with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.

Interview patients and document patient medical histories accurately.

Prepare and maintain examination rooms for optimal patient experience.

Manage patient flow and schedule appointments efficiently.

Clean and sanitize exam rooms and instruments

Handle medical record management and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Provide education to patients regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.

Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.

Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting is highly desirable.

Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems - ECLINICAL WORKS

Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures.

Current CPR certification is a plus.

Team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to patient care.
