About the Role:

Drs. Hauck & Bianchi PA is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join their team in Silver Spring, MD. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced physicians in a patient-focused practice where your skills and care truly make a difference every day.

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians with patient examinations and clinical procedures

Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints accurately in the EHR

Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper supply inventory

Administer injections, draw blood, and perform basic lab procedures as directed

Schedule appointments, manage patient flow, and coordinate referrals

Handle prescription refill requests and prior authorizations under physician supervision

Communicate with patients regarding test results, follow-up care, and instructions

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant diploma or certificate preferred

CMA or RMA certification (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent) strongly preferred

Prior clinical experience in a medical office or outpatient setting preferred

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems

Strong phlebotomy and vital signs skills

Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities

Compassionate, professional, and patient-centered demeanor
