About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers remotely by sending referrals, requesting records, etc..

Prepare and maintain patient charts and medical records accurately.

Reconcile medications and vaccinations as directed by providers.

Coordinate patient appointments and manage the scheduling system.

Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the clinic.

Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; medical assistant certification preferred.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office or clinical setting.

Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures as well as medications.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
