    Job Summary

    As a Medical Assistant, you will be an integral part of our healthcare team. You will assist in patient care, ensure smooth clinic operations, and support our physicians and nurses in providing excellent healthcare services. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, has a passion for patient care, has strong customer service skills, an interest in learning more about a working medical environment, and has previous office experience.

    Responsibilities

    Prepare patients for exams, including taking vitals, documenting medical history, and updating electronic health records (EHR).

    Assist physicians during exams and procedures, providing necessary instruments and supplies.

    Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician.

    Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with specimen collection.

    Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow.

    Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of medical equipment and exam rooms.

    Educate patients on health management and treatment plans.

    Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service.

    Follow all safety, health, and infection control protocols.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assistant program preferred.

    Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) preferred, but not required.

    Strong knowledge of medical terminology, EHR systems, and office equipment.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Compassionate, detail-oriented, and patient-focused.

    Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.

    Bilingual Preferred, but not required
