About the Role:

Lifetime Family Medicine LLC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our outpatient family practice team in Gainesville, VA. Responsibilities:

Room patients and record vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints

Assist physicians and providers with examinations and outpatient procedures

Administer injections, vaccinations, and perform phlebotomy as directed

Manage and document accurate patient records using EHR/EMR systems

Prepare and sterilize exam rooms and medical equipment between patient visits

Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up communications

Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and preventive care instructions

Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

Prior experience in a family practice or outpatient clinical setting is a plus

Proficiency with EHR/EMR platforms (Athena Health preferred) and general clinical documentation

Strong clinical skills including injections and vital signs

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude

Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment

CPR/BLS certification required or ability to obtain upon hire
