    Foot and Ankle Specialists of Illinois (FASI) is an established medical and surgical podiatry practice located in Algonquin, IL. We are looking to add a Certified Medical Assistant with at least 2+ years’ of experience to our team.     What you will be doing

    Moving in and out of the rooms actively delivering hands-on chairside patient care in the exam rooms

    Taking x-rays, medical histories, and vital signs

    Preparing patients for examination and assisting the physician during the examination

    Explaining treatment procedures and patient education as directed by podiatrist

    Handling durable medical equipment and patient education

    Removing sutures and changing dressings

    Arranging room instruments and equipment

    Cleaning and maintaining office equipment and areas

    Reviewing the daily schedule and helping manage the “flow” of the clinic

    Participating in huddles, debriefs, and team meetings

    Learning new procedures, processes, and protocols

    Scribing for doctors in the exam room

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Medical Assistant Certification (preferred)

    Minimum 2 years' experience in a busy healthcare setting (required)

    Minimum 2 years' experience using medical patient care software or EMR platforms such as e-clinical works, next-gen office, Athena, epic, or other similar systems.

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products Outlook e-mail, excel, etc

    Willingness to learn and collaborate

    Excellent communication and writing skills
