We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant who is fluent in Haitian Creole to join our growing healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients by providing information, services, and guidance throughout their visits
- Conduct preliminary assessments, including vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for medical procedures and examinations
- Support physicians and providers during office procedures
- Maintain and manage medical supplies and equipment
- Schedule and coordinate appointments, including surgical or specialty referrals
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records, including diagnostic and procedure coding
- Ensure compliance with safety, privacy, and healthcare regulations
- Promote a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required
- 2–3 years of experience as a medical assistant in a healthcare or medical office setting
- Proficiency with EMR systems, medical terminology, and phlebotomy
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Fluency in Haitian Creole (required)
- Experience in dermatology, primary care, or multi-specialty clinics is a plus
