Job Title: Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant Location: 12241 Academy Rd NE, Suite 204 Albuquerque, NM 87111 Practice: High Desert Dermatology

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology practice. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and thrives in a high-volume clinical environment while providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories

Assist providers with dermatologic exams and procedures

Prepare and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and supplies

Perform basic clinical tasks such wound care, biopsies assistance, excisions and suture removal

Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions

Return patient phone messages and address any concerns

Maintain patient flow and support efficient clinic operations

Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards

Qualifications:

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (CMA/RMA), not required if you have experience

Prior experience in dermatology strongly preferred (will consider motivated candidates with strong clinical background)

Experience using ModMed EMA preferred but not required

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy setting

Professional, positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset

Schedule:

Full-time. Some Saturdays

No nights or major holidays (schedule details may vary)
