About Hydrology Wellness
Hydrology Wellness delivers exceptional, modern wellness care—from IV nutrient therapy to advanced services like Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). We pair clinical excellence with a calming, luxury experience. We’re seeking a Medical Assistant who blends strong clinical skills with warm, guest-focused service to keep our floor running smoothly.
Role Summary
The Medical Assistant supports our providers and clients across the full visit: rooming, vitals, injections, treatment support (including HBOT), light front-of-house coverage, and day-to-day operations (inventory, resets, cleanliness). This role is ideal for an organized, upbeat teammate who loves wellness and top-tier patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Care & Clinical Support
Greet, room, and prepare patients; obtain vitals and review intake/consents.
Assist Nurse Practitioners during injectable/aesthetic procedures (neuromodulators, dermal fillers) and regenerative treatments (PRP/PRF)—including room prep, sterile field setup, product preparation (draw-up/labeling) as delegated, consent/photos, patient positioning/comfort, and post-care reinforcement—under provider supervision and within scope.
Assist with IV therapy setup, documentation, and monitoring; start IVs if trained/credentialed per clinic policy.
Support Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy sessions (briefing, safety checks, monitoring, documentation) per protocol.
Maintain accurate charting in the EMR and assist with after-visit instructions.
Floor Operations & Guest Experience
Provide exceptional client service during check-in/check-out and answer general questions; cross-cover front desk when needed.
Turnover rooms quickly between appointments; maintain a spotless, well-stocked environment.
Support with Laundry needs for restocking rooms.
Monitor inventory; restock medical supplies, retail items, and office materials; flag low-stock needs.
Ensure equipment is clean, functional, and properly set up; escalate maintenance issues promptly.
Events & Special Programs
Assist with on-site/off-site events, promotions, and client appreciation days (setup, flow, guest support).
Qualifications
Medical Assistant diploma/certificate required; CMA/RMA (or equivalent) preferred.
1+ year of clinical experience in a medical office, wellness, aesthetics, or similar setting.
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Proficient with EMRs (experience with Zenoti a plus) and scheduling/point-of-sale tools a plus.
Excellent communication, customer service, and teamwork skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
High attention to detail; able to multitask in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs; availability for some evenings/weekends as needed.
Injection competency (IM/SubQ) required; phlebotomy and IV start experience strongly preferred (or willingness to train per policy).
