    Position Title: Medical Assistant (Temporary – Possible Temp to Hire)
    Location: Seattle, WA
    Compensation: $24–$26 per hour
    Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
    Setting: Medical Clinic / Healthcare Center

    Facility Overview

    A healthcare clinic is seeking a Medical Assistant to support both clinical and administrative operations in a fast-paced outpatient setting. This temporary position offers the possibility of conversion to a permanent role based on organizational needs and performance, though conversion is not guaranteed.

    Position Summary / Responsibilities

    • Perform clinical duties including phlebotomy, vital sign assessments, and point-of-care testing
    • Manage front-office responsibilities including patient registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and referral coordination
    • Provide administrative and operational support to maintain efficient clinic workflows
    • Participate in cross-functional responsibilities across clinical, testing, and administrative functions
    • Deliver excellent customer service and support a positive experience for patients from diverse backgrounds

    Requirements

    • Active Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential
    • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
    • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on phlebotomy experience
    • Ability to perform both clinical and administrative duties effectively
    • Flexibility to work later mid-week evening hours when covering a secondary clinic location
    • TB test required as part of the onboarding process
    • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse patients and team members
