    Job Summary

    We are seeking a dedicated Certified or Registered Medical Assistant or LVN to join our Integrative/Primary Care Clinic in Liberty, TX. The Medical Assistant will support clinical operations by preparing for each patient visit, organizing charts and clinical notes, and ensuring the patient experience is smooth, informed, and well-coordinated. This role includes assisting nurses and medical providers with direct patient care, maintaining equipment and supplies, and supporting the flow of lab tests, reports, and patient communications.

    Responsibilities

    Prepare for patient visits by pulling charts, reviewing clinical notes, and setting up necessary medical equipment

    Clean and disinfect instruments, equipment, and exam rooms according to clinic protocols

    Answer phone calls, assist with patient questions, schedule appointments, and identify visit needs

    Assist nurses and providers with routine clinical support and basic medical procedures

    Track lab orders and results, notify patients per provider instruction, and ensure timely reporting

    Call in prescriptions to pharmacies as directed by the provider

    Manage and restock inventory of medical supplies and maintain equipment readiness

    Support basic medical office duties, including scanning, filing, and updating records

    Qualifications

    Required: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)

    BLS Certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)

    Excellent customer service and communication skills

    Strong attention to detail and time-management abilities

    Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment

    Willingness to complete additional training provided upon hire

    Willingness to travel to secondary location in Mont Belvieu, TX if needed
