    As a Medical Assistant / Medical Support Specialist, you will be part of an integrated care team specializing in:

    This role provides hands-on clinical experience, exposure to multiple specialties, and growth in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

    Position Summary

    The Medical Assistant supports daily clinic operations through a combination of clinical and administrative responsibilities, including direct patient care, front office duties, and back office support.

    Key ResponsibilitiesFront Office & Patient Support

    • Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out
    • Verify medical history, demographics, and insurance
    • Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-ups
    • Answer phones and assist with patient inquiries
    • Collect payments and support billing processes
    • Process prior authorizations, referrals, and medical orders
    • Maintain a professional and welcoming clinic environment

    Clinical Duties

    • Assist providers with exams and procedures
    • Take and document vital signs
    • Prepare patients for visits
    • Set up and clean exam rooms per protocol
    • Perform basic clinical procedures and testing
    • Follow infection control and safety standards

    EHR & Documentation

    • Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
    • Ensure charts are complete and organized
    • Assist with medical records and documentation requests

    Inventory & Equipment

    • Monitor and restock supplies
    • Ensure proper storage and availability
    • Report equipment issues and coordinate maintenance

    Quality & Compliance

    • Support quality improvement initiatives
    • Assist with audits and compliance activities
    • Maintain patient safety and regulatory standards

    Compensation & Benefits

    Employment Type: Full-Time Work Location: In-Person

    Paid Time Off:

    • 40 hours Sick Leave annually
