Job Summary
Meraki Aesthetics and Company is a modern, creative space where medical aesthetics are prioritized. At Meraki, we specialize in anti-aging and facial rejuvenation by providing the highest quality care for cosmetic and aesthetics injectables, including Botox/Dysport/Xeomin, Dermal Fillers, Biostimulators, PDO thread lifts, Microneedling, Kybella/PCDC, PRP, Ultherapy, and Facial Treatments.
We are looking for a highly organized and growth minded individual working full time. The Medical Assistant will assist providers with scheduling, follow up, front and back office documentation, answering messages, procedure assistance. Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume practice. The medical assistant is also responsible for greeting and assisting guests, high volume client scheduling, providing an exceptional customer service experience to guests. Excels in POS systems, electronic health record systems and understanding and organizing daily inventory processes. Possess an enthusiastic attitude, approach, and views the sales cycle as a challenging and rewarding experience. Aesthetic Industry/Medical spa/Plastic surgery/medical office experience preferred.
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures provide detailed descriptions of treatments, packages, services, facility features and hours of operations Manage and assist in scheduling for providers, workflow, patient communication, documentation and in office treatment process Responsible for assisting with inventory management and reconciliation when products are received and inputting rewards program data improve patient experience from start to finish, processes payment and ensures adequate follow up appointments and reviews Strategize and implement cost reduction initiatives Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Responsibilities
Prepare for the patient visit, including pulling charts and notes, as well as setting up medical equipment
Clean instruments and equipment after use
Answer phones and field questions about medical issues, identifying visit needs
Assist nurses and nurse practitioners with basic medical care and procedures
Track lab results, call in prescriptions, and handle basic medical office duties
Qualifications
BLS Certification or Certified Medical Assistant desired
Excellent customer service skills
Strong attention to detail
