Job Description: North Scottsdale OBGYN office is looking for an immediate hire Medical Assistant(s) for our fast-paced medical office. We are seeking a professional, polished team player who will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of patient care, including, but not limited to, chaperoning patients, obtaining vital signs, assisting with gynecological procedures, preparing patients for exams, processing instruments for sterilization, and process labs for testing. Additionally, you will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. Ideal OBGYN Medical Assistant(s) must have excellent skills with computers, typing, electronic medical records and be proficient with multitasking. Our Medical Assistant(s) are required to have excellent customer service skills and be polished, and professional Prior medical experience is a plus, but we are hiring new medical assisting grads!
Responsibilities
Rooming patients and taking vital signs, history, medication listing
Assisting providers with exams and procedures
Detailed charting of PHI in patient’s electronic medical record
Prepares equipment and assists physicians with medical treatments, exams, and medical procedures.
Maintains positive attitude and demonstrates the utmost in professionalism.
Prioritizes work activities, completes work accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintains effective working relationships with physicians, administration, and staff members.
Administering injections
Cleaning and preparing rooms.
Stocking rooms
Cleaning and sterilizing equipment
Skills
Excellent oral, written and telephone communication skills, along with tact, diplomacy, and strong customer service orientation.
Graduate of a formal program in Medical Assisting
Medical Assistant certification (Required)
OBGYN experience not required but highly encouraged.
Scottsdale 85258: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Must be able to interact professionally and politely with patients and providers.
Teamwork is quintessential.
Ability to communicate with patients in a pleasant manner.
Ability to maintain Utilize various computer technologies for patient information input.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
