Room for growth and learning in dermatology & aesthetics

Position Responsibilities

Greet and escort patients, creating a warm and professional first impression

Complete patient intake, document history, and initiate chart notes

Scribe for providers during patient exams

Assist with medical and cosmetic procedures (biopsies, excisions, cosmetic treatments)

Accurately document in the EMR system

Answer phones and assist patients with clinical questions and concerns

Communicate with insurance companies and pharmacies for prior authorizations

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year experience working as a Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting (required)

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

Willingness to be cross-trained and eager to learn

Dermatology experience preferred

Scribing experience and familiarity with medical terminology & prior authorizations a plus
