We are a patient-focused medical practice dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our growing team. Flexible schedule between our Oceanside & Encinitas locations.

Responsibilities

Welcome and room patients in a friendly and professional manner.

Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints.

Assist providers with examinations and procedures.

Prepare exam rooms and maintain cleanliness and supplies.

Schedule appointments, answer phones, and assist with patient inquiries.

Manage electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and efficiently.

Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and prescription refills.

Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications

Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or equivalent), but experience may be considered.

Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Previous experience in a medical office or clinic is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
