Gameday is excited to welcome a Medical Assistant to our growing team in Redwood City. The ideal candidate will be comfortable educating men on men's health topics, including the importance of treatments, and will confidently perform and promote those treatments to patients. As part of this role, you will work closely with clients to guide them through their healthcare options.
Duties:
Phlebotomy - Perform blood draws and administer injections of testosterone, Gonadorelin, B12, and other vitamins
Perform/Assist with P-Shot and gainswave treatments
Check patient vitals and accurately record them in our EMR system
Ensure all lab results are promptly input into patient charts
Assisting medical providers with patient care and be an integral part of our healthcare team
Greet patients, answer phone calls, and handle check-in/check-out procedures
Assisting in lab operations and back office management
Inventory management and ordering
Maintaining accurate and precise records in EMR and adhere to all HIPAA Protocols.
Schedule appointments and keep our clinic running smoothly
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certification is Required
BLS Required
Certification in Phlebotomy Required
At least 6 months of experience in phlebotomy and medical assisting
Experience in a related field, such as medspas, urology, family practice, lab, endocrinology, gynecology or general practice is preferred.
No current or pending malpractice lawsuits
