Job Title: Medical Assistant

Duties: Provides assistance to the physicians in the preparation for and examination/treatment of patients. Prepares patient to be seen by the provider by obtaining patient history, taking vital signs, and assisting with coordination of care. Handles patient flow. Prepares examination room, cleans and sterilizes instruments per protocol, administers medications, reviews preprinted instruction sheets with patients, and other medical duties as assigned. May perform general office duties. Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
 
This is an onsite, per diem position. There is no set schedule or guarantee of hours.

Education: Requires completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program and at least 2 years of MA experience. Workers should have CPR certification, all required vaccinations per governance documents, and sign a HIPAA acknowledgment.
