Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

The Medical Assistant is responsible for supporting healthcare professionals by performing administrative and clinical duties in a medical setting. This role ensures smooth clinic operations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and medical history. • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with examinations and procedures. • Perform routine clinical tasks such as drawing blood, administering injections, and collecting lab specimens. • Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical systems. • Schedule patient appointments and manage front-desk responsibilities. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and infection control standards. • Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. • Handle medical supply inventory and ensure exam rooms are properly stocked. • Perform EKGs, wound care, and other procedures as directed by the provider. • Assist with insurance verifications and prior authorizations if required.

Qualifications:

General Medical Assistant skills • High School Diploma or equivalent required. • Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA) preferred. • CPR/BLS certification required. • Experience in a clinical setting preferred. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Knowledge of medical terminology and EMR systems.
