Medical Assistant – Primary Care Practice

We are seeking a dependable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join our busy primary care office. The ideal candidate is a team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

Room patients and obtain vital signs

Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record

Administer injections and perform clinical procedures as directed

Assist providers with examinations and treatments

Coordinate referrals, medication refills, and patient follow-up

Perform point-of-care testing and specimen collection

Answer patient questions and provide education as directed

Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment

Support front-office operations as needed

Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required

Current Medical Assistant certification preferred

Experience in a primary care setting preferred

eClinicalWorks experience is a plus

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Ability to work effectively as part of a team
