    Position Overview As a Medical Assistant at our Trenton clinic, you’ll support providers in delivering exceptional clinical care and administrative services. Your role is vital to ensuring a positive, respectful, and efficient patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    Clinical Duties

    Take vital signs, record patient history, and assist with exams and minor procedures

    Administer injections, perform blood draws, and collect lab samples

    Conduct EKGs, assist with GYN exams, and provide basic wound care

    Offer patient education regarding treatments, medications, and wellness

    Administrative Duties

    Facilitate communication between patients and providers

    Schedule tests, process referrals, and coordinate follow-ups

    Maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and manage clinical supplies

    Accurately document in the electronic health record system

    Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols

    Qualifications

    Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or equivalent training required

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail

    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment

    EMR experience preferred

    Previous experience in a healthcare or clinical setting is a plus

    Additional Requirements

    Must be able to travel between PHC sites as needed (mileage reimbursed)

    Compliance with current CMS vaccine mandates
