    Position Overview As a Medical Assistant at PHC, you'll work alongside providers to deliver outstanding clinical care and administrative support. You’ll play a key role in creating a positive, respectful, and efficient experience for every patient.

    What You'll Do Clinical Responsibilities

    Take patient vitals, document medical history, and assist with exams and minor procedures

    Administer injections, perform blood draws, basic wound care, and collect lab samples

    Conduct EKGs and assist with GYN exams

    Educate patients on treatments, medications, and wellness guidance

    Administrative Responsibilities

    Coordinate communication between patients and providers

    Assist with referrals, test scheduling, and follow-up appointments

    Maintain organized, stocked exam rooms and clinical supplies

    Document in the electronic health record system accurately and efficiently

    Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards

    Qualifications

    Medical Assistant diploma, certification, or equivalent formal training is required

    High school diploma or equivalent required

    Strong communication skills and attention to detail

    Ability to handle fast-paced clinical environments with professionalism

    Experience using EMR systems preferred

    Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is a plus

    Additional Requirements

    Ability to travel between PHC clinic sites as needed (mileage reimbursed)

    Remote administrative work may occasionally be required

    Must comply with current CMS vaccine mandates
