The Medical Assistant makes sure the back-office is flowing smoothly and that patients are seen in a timely manner. The MA will perform phlebotomy, perform laser therapy, and prepare injections. The MA will assist the provider as needed and ensure that the provider stays on time and is made aware of any issues with the patients. The MA will maintain a clean and well-organized back-office work environment. Part time position: ability to work in busy Warwick clinic every Wednesday.

Responsibilities

Assists Lead Medical Assistant with stocking medical supplies.

Ensures all rooms are clean and ready for the next patient.

Labels all blood draws with patient’s name.

Learns how to properly prepare injections based on training provided by clinical team, works to master each injection prep working under Lead MA and using training tools

Must be able to assistant in a bone marrow procedure.

Qualifications

Strong phlebotomy skills a must.

Ability to multitask.

Ability to provide excellent customer service, keep nervous patients calm.

Ability to have a good pulse on appointment flow.

Familiarity with EHR systems a plus.

Concierge medical experience a plus.
