Responsibilities
Supports the psychiatric team by providing consumer, clerical, and organizational support to include preparing lab orders, preparation of medical records, planning, linking, advocacy, coordination and monitoring health and psychiatric services and documenting in the electronic health record
Education
High School degree and certification from an accredited Medical Assisting program
Experience/Knowledge
One or more years’ experience working in a medical office or hospital setting, preferably with individuals with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities
License/Certification
Medical Assistant Certification or Registration
