  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Escort patient to exam rooms
    • Assist provider with exams and procedures
    • Take telephone messages, provide feedback, and answer patient/pharmacy calls
    • Clean and restock exam rooms
    • Sterilize instruments
  • Qualifications

    • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

    • Patient advocacy and conflict resolution skills for patients of all ages and backgrounds
    • Basic understanding and appreciation of the following and why they're critical in a successful clinic: HIPAA, OSHA, billing, collections, insurance referrals, authorizations, eligibility, benefits, deductibles, out of pocket, and co-insurance details.
    • Candidates must consent to and pass a criminal background check

    Job Type:

    • Full-Time: Monday through Friday 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

    Experience:

    • 1-year Medical Assistant experience preferred. Will train the right candidate.

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
