    Welcome to the Glaser & Randhawa Mental Health Group. GRHG is the premier psychiatric , Spravato, and TMS Therapy treatment center. Our mission is to provide compassionate, personalized, and effective mental health care for our community.

    This is an opportunity for a Medical Assistant/Technician in psychiatry with breakthrough Spravato and TMS therapies for the treatment of depression.

    The position is perfect for an individual who is excited to work with a collaborative team ito make a difference in patient care. Health care experience is preferred. The most important skill is communicating with patients and making them feel comfortable and safe while having good bedside manner. Strong attention to detail is required and the ability to follow a daily treatment checklist. This individual needs to be able to respond effectively in an emergency situation for patient care, possess strong listening and communication skills, be attentive to detail, and have the willingness to learn the use of a medical technology.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    ·Health care clinical professional experience preferred but not required

    Two or more years of related experience in a customer or patient-facing role

    Responsibilities:

    Present oneself in a professional manner when speaking to patients, coworkers, and mental health professionals.

    Handling medical records in compliance with HIPAA.

    Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner including detailed patient notes assessing progress, PHQ-9 scores, billing codes, and REMS reporting

    Answer incoming calls to educate prospective and incoming patients regarding Spravato treatment.

    Administer Spravato treatment based on specific Psychiatric Protocol (we provide all necessary training).

    Engage in appropriate clinical conversations throughout treatment to help guide and reassure patients throughout the journey.

    Communicate with patients by telephone or email in a timely manner to provide information about Spravato/TMS therapy, schedule and change appointment times, update information of patient accounts, and provide other related services.

    Monitor for and escalate critical situations as necessary including but not limited to suicidal ideation and adverse medical events during treatment.

    Perform other duties in line with the role as instructed by direct supervisor.

    Have reliable transportation and be able to commit to the shift schedule provided.

    Job Requirements:

    Bachelors or associates degree in psychology, healthcare administration, or related field strongly preferred but not required.

    Strong communication and patient care skills.

    2+ years of direct clinical or medical care

    Must be available MON-THUR. for an 8-hour shift during 11am – 7:00pm hours. Friday, 9:00-5:pm. Saturday 8:30am-1:30pm *possibly

    Must have basic computer skills: (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)

    Act courteously and with tact in dealing with patients, visitors and the public

    Must be organized, reliable, professional and be able to maintain confidentiality.
