About the Role:
Tristate Arthritis & Rheumatology is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in Crestview Hills, KY. Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient exams, procedures, and rheumatology-specific treatments
Room patients, record vital signs, and document medical histories in the EHR system
Prepare and administer injections and medications as directed by the provider
Coordinate lab orders, diagnostic testing, and prior authorizations
Manage patient flow to ensure efficient and timely clinic operations
Communicate with patients regarding follow-up care, test results, and appointment scheduling
Maintain clean, stocked, and properly sanitized exam rooms
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) preferred
Previous clinical or medical office experience, preferably in a specialty practice
Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Strong phlebotomy and injection administration skills
Excellent communication and patient-facing interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy clinical setting
Compassionate, detail-oriented, and a reliable team player
