    Innovative Treatment Centers (ITC) is seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator to join our team in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This role combines patient-facing administrative duties with clinical support, making it ideal for individuals who enjoy working closely with patients while helping ensure the clinic runs smoothly.

    Responsibilities

    Front Desk Duties

    Greet and check in patients in a professional and welcoming manner

    Schedule and confirm appointments

    Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries

    Verify insurance and patient demographic information

    Collect copayments and maintain accurate patient records

    Manage appointment reminders and follow-ups

    Clinical Support

    Prepare patient charts prior to visits

    Obtain vital signs when required

    Assist with urine drug screenings (UDS) and specimen documentation when applicable

    Support providers with basic clinical coordination tasks

    Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies

    Administrative Support

    Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system

    Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality

    Assist with patient intake forms and onboarding paperwork

    Help coordinate communication between patients, providers, and administrative staff

    Qualifications

    Required

    High school diploma or equivalent

    Strong organizational and multitasking skills

    Excellent communication and customer service skills

    Ability to work in a professional healthcare environment

    Preferred

    Experience working in a medical office, behavioral health clinic, or outpatient setting

    Medical Assistant certification or relevant healthcare experience

    Experience with EMR systems and scheduling software

    Bilingual (Spanish preferred)
