Dermatology office in Pearland, Texas seeking a full time Medical Assistant. Must be a team player who provides excellent patient care. Dermatology experience preferred. This person must be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask so that the priority items are completed on time each day.

Clinical Support

Prepare exam rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.

Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain accurate medical histories, vital signs, allergies, and medications.

Assist dermatologists and mid-level providers during exams, biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, cosmetic procedures, and other dermatologic interventions.

Perform specimen labeling, handling, and documentation per practice and lab protocols.

Administer injections and provide wound care or dressing changes as directed.

Educate patients on post-procedure care, medications, and treatment plans.

Maintain infection control and OSHA compliance in all patient care areas.
