    About the Role

    As a Medical Assistant in our urgent care center, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients through every step of their visit. This position blends hands‑on clinical work, patient interaction, and teamwork in a setting where no two days feel the same.

    What You’ll Do

    Welcome patients, room them efficiently, and gather accurate medical histories and vital signs

    Assist providers with exams, procedures, wound care, testing, and treatments

    Perform CLIA‑waived lab tests, collect and prepare specimens, and maintain lab quality control

    Administer medications, injections, and vaccines under provider supervision

    Conduct EKGs, point‑of‑care testing, and other diagnostic support tasks

    Draw blood for labs as ordered

    Keep documentation complete, accurate, and timely

    Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for patient care

    Support smooth patient flow in a high‑volume environment

    Perform drug screens and provide patient education and follow‑up instructions

    Contribute as a collaborative, dependable member of the clinical team

    Follow all infection control, safety, and compliance standards

    What You Bring

    Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical training

    Experience in urgent care, emergency, or other fast‑paced settings (preferred)

    Strong organization, attention to detail, and calm under pressure

    Excellent communication and a compassionate, patient‑focused approach

    Positive, team‑oriented attitude
