Medical Biller – Primary Care (Full-Time, In-Office) Murfreesboro, TN

We are a busy and growing physician-owned medical practice seeking an experienced medical biller with strong primary care billing experience to join our team.

Our practice includes Internal Medicine and Interventional Pain Management. This position will focus primarily on primary care billing, while our senior biller manages complex pain procedure billing. We can train the right candidate on pain management office visit coding.

This is an in-office position in a stable and expanding practice.

Responsibilities

Submit and track insurance claims for primary care services

Review and correct claim rejections and denials

Work accounts receivable and aging reports

Follow up with insurance companies regarding unpaid claims

Post insurance payments and adjustments

Ensure proper CPT, ICD-10, and modifier usage

Work closely with front office and providers to resolve billing issues

Qualifications

2+ years medical billing experience required

Primary care billing experience strongly preferred

Knowledge of commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid billing

Experience managing denials and insurance follow-up

Strong attention to detail and organization

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced practice
