Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 Annual Salary

Position Description of the Medicare Coordinator:

We are looking for a dedicated Medicare Coordinator for our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) to oversee all billing and reimbursement operations. This is a full-time, in-person position with a FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE offering excellent WORK LIFE BALANCE and good PTO.

Qualifications of the Medicare Coordinator:

• Proven experience in Medicare and Medicaid billing or coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Visual Chart (required).
• Strong understanding of Medicare reimbursement rates and payer rules.
• Experience working with outsourced AR teams in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities of the Medicare Coordinator:

• Coordinate and manage Medicare and Medicaid billing from submission through payment.
• Oversee accounts receivable and collaborate with outsourced AR teams to ensure timely collections.
• Apply and monitor Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement (“going”) rates and resolve denials or discrepancies.
• Utilize Visual Chart to track, update, and reconcile claims, reporting directly to Benny.
