Job Summary

We are seeking a part time Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in Atco! As a Medical Biller, you will be working closely with our direct support staff to clients to collect necessary documentation, answer questions related to billing, and process all forms needed for billing purposes. The ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, strong customer service skills, and has excellent computer skills.

Responsibilities

Working on site at our office in Atco 10-20 hours per week

Enter all billing and payment information into the system properly and without errors

Review submitted documentation to ensure it supports billed services

Follow up with clients/funders and payments, as needed

Submit billing accurately and timely

Note and process all necessary forms from funders

Troubleshoot service authorizations

Support payroll processing

Maintains the highest level of confidentiality

Qualifications

Experience meeting deadlines

Strong customer service skills

Previous experience with behavioral health billing preferred

Strong organization skills

Excellent attention to detail
