    About the role

    We are a leading healthcare provider seeking a Revenue Cycle Billing Supervisor to oversee billing operations for our Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs). This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with a strong background in SNF billing, payer management, and process optimization. You’ll manage a billing team, ensure accurate and timely claims, and drive performance improvements across the revenue cycle.

     

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise day-to-day billing operations to ensure timely and accurate claim submissions.

    • Oversee the management of Medicare, Medicaid, HMOs, Hospice, and other payer claims.

    • Identify and resolve payer issues; handle denials, rejections, and appeals efficiently.

    • Analyze A/R aging, collections, and performance metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

    • Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow and reduce A/R days.

    • Maintain compliance with evolving payer regulations and guidelines.

    • Lead, train, and evaluate billing staff to ensure optimal team performance.

     

    Qualifications

    • Experience: Minimum 2+ years in SNF billing as a Billing Manager, Billing Supervisor, or Revenue Cycle Supervisor.

    • Expertise:

      • Skilled in Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and Hospice billing.

      • Knowledge of SNF-specific regulations and reimbursement structures.

      • PT billing experience is a plus.

    • Technology: Proficient in billing software, clearinghouses, EMRs, and Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).

    • Skills:

      • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

      • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

      • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
