Best Medical Center is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coding professional to join our Medical Coding Department. Part Time (80 Hours Monthly, 20 hours weekly, 4 hours daily)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform pre-audit reviews of patient charts to revise and validate all assigned diagnosis and procedure codes.

Conduct post-audit reviews to ensure all patient encounters are coded accurately, completely, and in compliance with current coding guidelines.

Maintain consistent communication with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and resolve coding discrepancies.

Review and manage insurance reports, verifying that submitted codes align with provider documentation.

Update and maintain patient insurance information, ensuring accuracy across all systems.

Ensure compliance with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS guidelines and payer requirements.
