    How you will spend your time as a Medical Credentialing Specialist:

    • Serve as the first point of contact for providers during credentialing and recredentialing processes.
    • Provide elite customer service, ensuring timely and compliant credentialing in line with industry standards.
    • Collect, track, and verify credentialing data from multiple sources including NPDB, malpractice insurers, and provider applications.
    • Maintain and update credentialing databases with accurate and timely information.
    • Prepare and support Credentialing Committee documentation and participate in meetings.

    Skills & experience we would like you to have as a Medical Credentialing Specialist:

    • 2–5 years of healthcare credentialing experience preferred, delegated credentialing experience a plus.
    • Certification preferred (CPCS or CPMSM), or willingness to obtain upon eligibility.
    • Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent training/experience.
    • Familiarity with CAQH, OIG/SAM audits, and regulatory requirements.
    • Strong PC skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and professional communicator-both written and verbal.
    • Experience with credentialing software preferred.
