Position Overview Agape Mental Health Services is looking for a Psychiatrist to serve as a Medical Director. This person holds a unique and vital position at the intersection of clinical leadership and administrative oversight at Agape. This role is responsible not only for providing high-quality psychiatric care but also for shaping the vision, policies, and procedures that govern Agape Mental Health Services. The Medical Director ensures that clinical services adhere to the highest standards of evidence-based medicine, supports ongoing professional development for the clinical staff, and drives innovation and quality improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

· Clinical Leadership

· Set standards for psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment within the organization.

· Provide direct psychiatric evaluation and management for complex or high-acuity cases.

· Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to staff.

· Promote evidence-based clinical practices and the integration of innovative treatment modalities.

· Oversee the development and revision of clinical guidelines and protocols.

Qualifications

· Doctor of Medicine (MD) with board certification in psychiatry.

· Active, unrestricted medical license in Maryland.

· Clinical experience in psychiatric practice in an outpatient settings.

· Previous leadership or administrative experience within a healthcare organization is highly desirable.

· Demonstrated knowledge of current psychiatric treatment modalities and standards of care.

· Strong understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and accreditation processes.

· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

· Commitment to professional ethics, patient advocacy, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
