    Our Client is a growing non-profit behavioral health organization based in Naples, FL that offers its employees the support and understanding you would expect from top-rated management.

    The Company: Our Client consists of a multidisciplinary team of Psychiatrists, Psychologists, and Licensed Therapists who specialize in treating adults and children with behavioral health conditions or mental health disorders.

    The Position: Our Client is looking for a Medical Director. Our Client is offering the following compensation and benefits:

    Requirements:

    • Active, unrestricted Florida medical license as a psychiatrist
    • Current DEA registration
    • Medical Doctor (MD) degree from an accredited institution
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with adults in psychiatric settings
    • Experience with involuntary services
    • Proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and external agencies
    • Ability to pass Level II DCF Mental Health Fingerprinting, drug screening, and local criminal background check
    • Experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care settings (Preferred)
    • Experience working with child and adolescent populations (Preferred)

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct psychiatric services, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, medical orders, and participation in involuntary hearings.
    • Deliver care primarily within our adult Crisis Stabilization Unit, with additional support provided to child crisis units as needed.
    • Offer some coverage for adult outpatient services during regular weekday hours.
    • Lead and mentor a team of psychiatric professionals, including PMHNPs, through clinical supervision, daily rounds, and protocol oversight.
    • Participate in on-call, weekend, and holiday rotations (with enhanced compensation).
    • Collaborate with executive leadership, clinical directors, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and refine psychiatric service lines.
    • Drive innovation in treatment modalities, including support for emerging practices such as TMS and technology-enhanced care (e.g., AI, telepsychiatry).
    • Support medical residency education and professional development programs.
    • Represent DLC in partnerships with community agencies and stakeholders to strengthen integrated behavioral health delivery.
