    Paving the Way Multi-Service Institute is seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Medical Director and Child Psychiatrist to lead our dedicated mental health team. In this role, you will provide clinical oversight, ensure high-quality psychiatric care, and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges. As a Medical Director, you will play a vital role in shaping our clinical programs while providing direct care and supervision to our psychiatric staff.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Clinical Leadership: Oversee clinical services for children and adolescents, ensuring evidence-based practices are implemented and maintained across the organization.

    Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions in children and adolescents.

    Team Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, providing guidance and support to clinical staff while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

    Program Development: Lead initiatives to enhance service delivery, including developing new treatment programs and community outreach strategies.

    Quality Assurance and Improvement: Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and promote continuous quality improvement throughout the department. Participate in program development and evaluation, ensuring compliance with relevant clinical standards and organizational policies.

    Community Engagement: Act as a key representative of the organization, engaging with community stakeholders and advocating for mental health awareness and resources.

    Clinical Oversight: Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the behavioral health team, ensuring best practices in psychiatric care for children and adolescents.

    Supervise: Oversee and support psychiatric staff, including Child Psychiatrists and mental health professionals, fostering a collaborative and effective team environment.

    Skills & Qualifications:

    Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

    Licensure: Current certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and valid medical license to practice in the state.

    Experience: 3-5 years of experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, including supervisory or leadership roles.

    Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach to care. Familiarity with electronic health records and telemedicine platforms is preferred.

    Preferred: Experience in community-based mental health settings and a commitment to culturally competent care.
