    Position Overview

The Medical Equipment Planner is one of the most technically specialized roles in this contract — and one of the most impactful. You will independently plan, specify, budget, and manage the procurement and installation of medical equipment across all major construction and activation projects at LBVAHCS. Your work ensures that clinical spaces receive the right equipment, properly integrated with the facility's electrical, data, AV, and security infrastructure, and that it arrives on time and is correctly installed, documented, and commissioned.

This role requires deep familiarity with both the clinical and technical dimensions of medical equipment — from understanding FDA and TJC regulatory requirements to coordinating between architects, biomedical engineers, IT specialists, and clinical staff. If you have worked in healthcare capital equipment planning and want stable, long-term federal contract work supporting a VA medical center's major construction program, this is an exceptional opportunity.
